Organic Astaxanthin

Organic Astaxanthin from Dr. Mercola contains organic astaxanthin extract from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis, the preferred source grown in pure, clean glass tubes, rather than contaminated open ponds like other products. It is untouched by chemical solvents, preservatives, plasticizers and residues. Astaxanthin is a very powerful antioxidant used by the stars of Hollywood to maintain a youthful skin. Because astaxanthin is lipid-soluble and larger and longer than other carotenoids, it can become part of the cell membrane to help stabilize and protect both the inner and outer cell membrane from oxidative damage.
